Recovery Practices and Testimonials by YP2MP

YP2MP foundation assisted 107 individuals in 2022 and 55 individuals in the year-to-date (YTD) of 2023.

To support our client’s recovery, we employ a methodology that emphasizes accompaniment, focusing on two main methods: Case Work and Community Work.

The Case Work method comprises a series of social work techniques designed to aid individuals facing various challenges. It centres around the relationship between a social worker and the client.

This method includes:

  1.  Individual Counseling: This approach fosters strong client relationships, delves deeper into their problems, and explores alternative solutions.
  2. Behaviour Change Techniques: We employ reward and punishment techniques to motivate clients towards positive changes.
  3. Livelihood Therapy: Clients work towards understanding their life goals, enabling them to develop actionable steps to complete the program successfully.

The Group Work method provides services to groups with the primary objective of facilitating social functioning, growth, or change among group members.

This method includes:

  1. Family Counseling: We emphasize the importance of family support in the recovery process, helping parents understand their role in the journey to recovery.
  2. Psychosocial Therapy: This therapy helps clients lacking self-confidence adjust within the group setting.
  3. Another vital approach is Community Work, a process that assists people in self-improvement through collective activities.

We proudly share three video testimonials from individuals who have successfully recovered through our program. These individuals, who began using meth at a young age, are now 17 years old. They express their gratitude to YP2MP for their recovery and readiness to return to school and work.

Our organization takes pride in serving the community, especially young drug users. However, we continue to seek assistance and support from others to enhance the quality of our services.
