As reported by Daily Mail “honorary international board members” Sting and Richard Branson are accused of “meddling in Uruguay”. Surprised? No need to be surprised. Drug Policy Alliance, headed by pro-pot proponent Ethan Nadelmann has done a lot to mess around, not only in Uruguay, but in several other countries in Central and Latin America to promote his agenda. These guys are also behind and involved in the Global Commission on Drug Policy which primarily consists of a lot of ex-presidents, and former executives. The commission has published an extremely poor report on drug policy, and Branson now claims, cited by Daily Mail, that “we have examined the war on drugs using a science-based approach.” Science-based approach? Not very much so. Rather a propaganda pamphlet, most probably written by the commission’s advisors Alex Wodak, Ethan Nadelmann, Martin Jelsma, and Mike Trace.
