Snake oil outlets have now started to achieve what has been the purpose all the way – to make sure that existing medical marijuana businesses expand into the recreational marijuana marketplace. This is not a new idea. Years ago Ethan Nadelmann & aliae described how snake oil marijuana (or “medical” as they prefer to put it) would open up ways to full-blown legalization. Now, Boulder County commissioners have opened the door to allowing existing medical marijuana businesses to expand into the recreational marijuana marketplace. You should keep a special eye on Commissioners Cindy Domenico, Deb Gardner and Elise Jones who approved the licensing measure. Any count(r)y gets the drug policy it deserves.
