Listening to the language used by legalizers won´t teach you very much about the use of the English language. However, it is a good measure of the exaggerations used by the pro pot people.
What about this: This is a disaster! They ´re throwing medical patients under the bus. Said by whom? Douglas Hiatt, activist and criminal defense attorney. So what is the terrible disaster happening in Potington State, according to said Hiatt? According to him it is a disaster that a “medical” patient can only possess 3 ounces of pot, down from 24 ounces. Another part of the “disaster” is that new recommendations would eliminate the right of “medical” users to grow their own marijuana. In comparison, terrorist attacks seem to be a minor problem.
Now, politicians don´t have to consider his “disaster” arguments. They should be regarded for what they are – a childish outcry from somebody who doesn´t get it his way. So what created this commotion? It was created by the Potington state´s consideration to impose heavy taxes and stricter controls on “medical” marijuana.
Everybody who disagrees, throw yourself under a bus!
