“As we mark the founding of a body built to pursue peace in an imperfect world, let us reaffirm that the values set forth in its Charter guide us still,” President Obama says in a proclamation for United Nations Day 2013.
We look forward to the International Day Against Drugs next year and to hear President Obama say, As we mark the International Day Against Drugs and the UN Conventions on Drugs created to pursue a drug-free world, let us reaffirm that the values set forth in the UN Conventions on Drugs guide us still.
