Our member, Margaret Kwa’ada Julius – founder of the Eye Opener, shares a story of hope highlighting that Recovery IS possible in the light of the World Drug Day. By showcasing the real example and metaphor of a pine tree that faced the struggles and damage of a fire. Whereas one might have given up on the tree when it got burned, a year later it shows new green leaves again. It shows that with the right support, the resilience and strength of the tree proofed to be stronger than the initial fall back.
