We would like to share the newsletter by our member, Civil Development Organization (CDO), operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, on their activities in September.
In September, they organised the International Charity Day Festival, where 50 organisations, businesses, government agencies, and groups displayed their work and activities. The day was held on September 5th, commemorating the anniversary of the passing of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
They are also implementing the project “Promoting Emergency Livelihoods Opportunities for Acutely Vulnerable Displaced and Host Families, Building Climate-Resilient Communities in Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah Governorates”, for which they received a visit from the CESVI delegation (their partners in the project). The meeting covered the project’s progress as well as the obstacles and lessons learnt from the project. Efforts and attempts to mitigate the harmful effects of climate change were highlighted.
More activities are highlighted in their newsletter!
