Two weeks ago, WFAD had the pleasure of welcoming our partner organisation, Proyecto Hombre, to Gothenburg for a study visit focused on prevention, treatment, recovery, and social reintegration.
Throughout the visit, participants met with the Recovery Network, representatives from the City of Gothenburg, MiniMaria, MÄN, and Vägen Ut! Kooperativen to learn more about their work and exchange experiences. Together, they explored Swedish approaches to prevention, early intervention, youth support, recovery initiatives, violence prevention, civil society collaboration, and social enterprises.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives from Sweden and Spain, learn from practical examples, and strengthen collaboration between organisations working to support individuals, families, and communities.
WFAD extends its sincere thanks to Proyecto Hombre and to all the organisations that welcomed us and generously shared their knowledge and experience.
