Together with the UNODC Civil Society Unit and the UNODC Research and Analysis Branch, VNGOC will host a webinar on 16 September 2026 from 15:00–16:30 CEST to present and discuss the World Drug Report 2026, which was launched on 26 June.
The webinar will include a presentation of the World Drug Report 2026, civil society perspectives, and an open question-and-answer session. This year’s report highlights, among other topics, the impact of drug use on safety and security.
VNGOC is currently looking for one to two civil society speakers to contribute to the webinar by sharing how they use data from the World Drug Report in their work and how these data impact their activities. Contributions related to the report’s focus on the impact of drug use on safety and security are particularly welcome.
Interested organisations are invited to submit an application, including a short abstract outlining their proposed contribution, by 31 August 2026 at 11:45 p.m. CEST (Vienna time, UTC+2). The abstract should be directly relevant to the topic of the panel and clearly explain what your organisation proposes to present and contribute to the discussion.
