The General Assembly of the United Nations will convene a High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS from 8-10 June 2021. The meeting will review progress made in reducing the impact of HIV since the last high-level meeting in 2016 and the General Assembly is further expected to adopt a new political declaration on HIV/AIDS.
A call for speakers has also been put out by the VNGOC. Being a speaker include the opportunity to address the opening segment, plenary meeting, and thematic panel discussions. The deadline for applications is the 25th of April, and the following special accreditation application form should be filled in before completing the application to become a speaker.
