The General Assembly of the United Nations will convene a High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS from 8-10 June 2021. The meeting will review progress made in reducing the impact of HIV since the last high-level meeting in 2016 and the General Assembly is further expected to adopt a new political declaration on HIV/AIDS.
A call for speakers has also been put out by the VNGOC. Being a speaker include the opportunity to address the opening segment, plenary meeting, and thematic panel discussions. More information about each can be found on the speaker application form here: https://bit.ly/2Rwrv8K Once the applications have been sent in, the VNGOC will select the speakers based on relevance and well-written submissions.
The deadline for applications is the 25th of April, and the following special accreditation application form should be filled in before completing the application to become a speaker.
