Between October 23rd and 25th, WFAD attended the LxAddictions24 in Lisbon, Portugal. LxAddictions is the European Conference on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies and provides a forum for networking and sharing of the latest research in addiction science and addictive behaviours. The programme was vast and included presentations on research in prevention, treatment, and recovery. Besides the grand opening, WFAD attended various presentations, including presentations on mental health and addictions, online presence of treatment for women, strengthening protective factors, AI-usage/Media Addiction behaviours. Finally, we attended the closing session in which various perspectives on drug policies were shared.
