As probably everybody knows by now, tobacco companies are prepared to do almost anything to make sure they can continue to damage people´s health. One “excellent” example, as reported by Los Angeles Times, is the fact that big tobacco adds nearly $9 million to fight against tobacco tax. Yesterday, the parent companies of Philip Morris USA and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. reported nearly $9 million in contributions. It´s time to increase the fight against the tobacco companies and their efforts to contribute to a deterioration of public health.
