A Goodview man was sentenced to nearly five years in prison Thursday for causing the death of his son.
Jeffery Schumacher, 59, spoke briefly during the afternoon hearing and expressed regret for the May 2012 incident where he gave his son, also named Jeffery Schumacher, a dose of methadone that mixed with other drugs in his system and ultimately killed him.
