Medical marijuana may be polling favorably in Massachusetts, but area law enforcement officials aren’t buying.Local police chiefs say there’s no evidence of marijuana’s medicinal value and that a proposed referendum authorizing the drug for medical purposes would put the state at odds with federal law.
