NYC has more than 1,550 programs serving over 110,000 New Yorkers on any given day.One third of these people are in residential treatment at any one time. The average person has seven episodes of treatment. Residential treatment is 18-months or less with an overall estimated state funded budget per person of approximately $200-$500 per day.
