Opposition to a ballot question that would ask Massachusetts residents to vote on the legalization of medical marijuana is mobilizing in Massachusetts. A hearing on the ballot question to legalize marijuana as “medicine” in Massachusetts will be held on Monday, June 4 before the state’s Supreme Judicial Court at 2:00 pm. The plaintiff, Massachusetts Prevention Alliance (MAPA), will argue that the ballot language is misleading because it omits the key features of the proposed legislation.
