On Friday, April 27, Maria Larsson, Minister for Children and the Elderly, Councillors Anna Koenig Jerlmyr (Stockholm), Dario Espiga (Gothenburg) and Carina Nilsson (Malmoe) will present “Trestad” (Tricity) – a metropolitan project with focus on cannabis. The initiative is a collaboration between the three biggest cities in Sweden – Stockholm, Gothneburg and Malmoe – to reduce and prevent young people from using cannabis. Tricity is part of the work against cannabis. The cities have previously conducted a joint project on prevention, The project, which runs through 2014, is based on past experiences and is designed to develop knowledge of prevention, early intervention and treatment.
