A longtime New York City advocate for the legalization of medical marijuana and a veteran of the Youth International Party – or Yippies – is accused of money laundering. Prosecutors in Coles County in rural Illinois say Dana Beal was arrested last week in the town of Mattoon, about 170 miles south ofChicago.
