Oasis of Love is a Community Based Organization, non-profit and non-governmental initiated in January 2016 but formally registered as a Community Based Organization on 24th March 2023 pursuant to the Community Group Registrations Act (No.30 of 2022). Oasis of Love was formed to create awareness and educate people about the ill-effects of alcoholism and substance abuse on the individual, the family, the workplace and society at large.
Oasis of Love also seeks to address the underlying issues and/or problems associated with alcohol and substance abuse. Alcohol and substance abuse are linked to a number of social challenges, including, but not limited to, chronic illness, domestic violence, child abuse, crime, homelessness, aging, and mental health.
Oasis of Love is also involved in public awareness, advocacy and education on alcohol and substance abuse. Further, in this endeavor it seeks to sensitize/ make the youth aware of the effects of use of substances; help the youth see the link between crime and drug use, stop crime and substance abuse in the community and to refer victims of substance abuse for professional help.

MISSION
Oasis of Love’s mission is to provide quality, reliable information, to policymakers, international partners and the general public, about alcohol, drug & substance use and abuse in Kenya - its nature, the extent, prevention, treatment, control and underlying problems that negatively impact on nation building.
Oasis of Love is dedicated to strengthening protective factors against alcohol, drug & substance abuse, in collaboration with diverse local and international organizations, through the implementation of treatment and prevention programmes and in implementing national and international legal instruments, policies and activities on alcohol, drug & substance abuse control and health.
