The Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) will hold an event commemorating the United Nations International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and launching the 2025 UNODC World Drug Report. The event will take place  on 26 June at 2PM CEST (Vienna time, UTC+2) at the Vienna International Centre and online via UN WebTV.

The event will feature a presentation of the World Drug Report, followed by a panel discussions. Our chair, Matej Košir will be part of the panel and three other civil society representatives selected through an open call will make short interventions.

The 2025 World Drug Report presents the latest global, regional, and subregional data and trends in drug demand and supply, with an emphasis on usability and accessibility through an interactive online format. The World Drug Report 2025 will provide a wealth of data and analysis on the latest trends in drug demand and supply and cross-cutting issues together with three thematic chapters on: the impact of drug use with a focus on health; the links between drug trafficking and organized crime; and the impact of drugs on the environment in Europe.
