Pro-pot nonsense

Several local U.S. media are quite enthusiastic about the fact that a marijuana decriminalization law brings down juvenile arrests in California. Of course, what else would you expect?? If you decriminalize marijuana, assaults, petty thefts and whatever you can come up with, of course the number of arrestees will decrease. However, it doesn´t tell you anything about how many people continue to smoke marijuana, commit assaults or petty thefts. Reports that marijuana decriminalization brings down juvenile arrests is just a red herring to make you believe that the number of pot smokers has declined. Don´t let yourself be fooled by pro-pot propaganda!
