Smart International has continued welcoming new Smart Clubs over the year, even though it was often more difficult to meet due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. They also organised the first Children’s Summit in Kampala, together with Uganda Youth Development Link, in May 2021. The event was sponsored by the Swedish Foundation ForumCiv. The delegates represented the six Smart Clubs in Kampala. In total, there were 63 delegates plus their leaders and it was covered by journalists from TV and newspapers.
