Our member and dear partner in the project ‘Sober Youth – Healthier Communities: Transforming Violent Youth in Kinshasa’, funded by the Swedish Cooperation, has shared their report commemorating the International Day against Drug Abuse and Trafficking. In the Report, they elaborate on the situation of drug use and trafficking in Kinshasa, with a focus on girls since they are particularly vulnerable. Besides showcasing the different negative impacts drugs have on youth and girls, SYFES also highlights their work. Their work has been showcasing many positive outcomes in the dark issue of drug abuse and trafficking.
