We would like to share an opportunity from the Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs with our members and wider network. On behalf of the International Narcotics Control Board, VNGOC is inviting civil society organisations to submit written contributions ahead of the 146th INCB session, currently scheduled to take place from 11 to 22 May 2026.
This year’s topic is: “Trafficking in new psychoactive substances: implications for the prevention and treatment of drug use disorders.”
The INCB Board is expected to receive written contributions from approximately ten NGOs. In light of the ongoing United Nations Secretariat budget constraints, it remains uncertain whether the session will proceed as planned. Written submissions are therefore being prioritised, with the possibility of oral interventions should circumstances allow.
Submissions should be no longer than 3,000 words and sent in Word or PDF format to by 07 May 2026, 23:45 CEST.
