The first round of speakers we would like to introduce to you are:
Matej Košir (UTRIP): Director of the Institute for Research and Development and an expert in prevention and advocacy in the field of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs for around 25 years. He has been elected as the Chairperson of the Vienna NGO Committee (VNGOC) in 2023.
Syed Zulfiqar Hussain (Youth Council for Anti Narcotics): A renowned Consultant/Expert, Anti Drugs Narcotics Campaign, and Master Trainer on Drug Use Prevention, and working in the field of drug demand reduction.
Shrishti Dubey (Global Alliance for Human Rights): A passionate social work professional dedicated to empowering marginalised communities and advocating for human rights and project associate and secretary of the Global Alliance for Human Rights.
Shinasa Shahid (PhD Student at University of Derby, UK): a final year researcher at the University of Derby (UK) studying addiction recovery experiences in the Afro-Caribbean and South Asian women. She is an advisor for local peer support groups creating accessibility for recovery for ethnic groups.
