The VNGOC is sharing the call for speakers for their webinar, in collaboration with the UNODC Civil Society Unit and the UNODC Research and Analysis Branch, on September 4th at 15.00-16.30 CEST to discuss the World Drug Report. They seek for civil society speakers on how they use the data compiled in the World Drug Report each year and how these data impact their work. Apply for a speaking slot before August 7th! The VNGOC together with the UNODC Civil Society Unit and the UNODC Research and Analysis Branch will be holding a webinar on 4 September 2025 3PM to 4.30PM to present and discuss the World Drug Report 2025, which was launched on 26 June.
We are looking for 1-2 civil society speaker wishing to present at the webinar, on how they use the data compiled in the World Drug Report each year and how these data impact their work. A focus on one of the topics highlighted in the World Drug Report 2025 would be welcome:
- The complex and layered impacts of drug use on health.
- The nexus between drugs and organized crime.
- The environmental consequences of illicit drug markets.
The webinar will comprise welcome remarks from VNGOC and UNODC, a formal presentation of the World Drug Report 2025, one to two civil society panelist, and an open question and answer session.
