Welcome to the 4th World forum Against Drugs!
The World Forum Against Drugs is a biennial arena for exchanging knowledge and experience, an arena to describe new research and to inspire to new methods of prevention. This conference is one of a kind and gives you a unique opportunity to network, make connections with colleagues and enhance your knowledge. More info about World Forum Against Drugs.
Experts from all over the world will discuss the three main themes of this years’ Forum:
- Cannabis. Issues related to legalization of drugs and potential consequences.
- How drug treatment and the criminal justice system are working together. How drug courts work in different areas and the potential to spread this method to the rest of the world.
- Issues concerning gender-related differences and similarities.
The 4th Forum will be held at the same time as the European Cities Against Drugs Mayors’ conference, resulting in a major event in support of the UN Conventions on Drugs, and against legalization of drugs. The two conferences will be partially concurrent.
On May 19 there will be a joint opening of the conferences followed by interesting lectures by keynote speakers. After lunch, ECAD and WFAD will have separate conferences. On May 20, there will be a joint conference between ECAD and WFAD after lunch.
