28th ECAD’s Mayors Conference – May 11-12th – Malta

This year, our member European Cities Against Drugs will be hosting their 28th Mayors Conference, in collaboration with the Local Councils’ Association, in Malta at the Oracle Conference Centre at the Dolmen Hotel in Qawra between May 11th and 12th.

The Mayor’s Conference is a meeting place for people from Europe who are working to prevent drug abuse, ensure evidence-based practices, increase access to treatment and to promote recovery and reintegration services.

This conference is one of its kind where ECAD member cities, NGOs, self-help groups, treatment centres, local, regional, and national authorities, politicians and other decision-makers, and others from Europe, meet to share evidence and best-practice experiences.

May 11th will include a variety of speakers from academia, local authorities, and non-governmental organisations, sharing evidence and best-practices. It will be followed by the ECAD’s Mayor’s Plenary Session for Member Cities. May 12th will include a study visit for all participants, in which a variety of local best-practices in the field will be visited. This provides a great opportunity to hands-on experience exchange. A welcome dinner will be hosted on the first day of the conference.

Those of you who are interested to attend are kindly requested to register here or by scanning the QR code in the attached poster. Kindly register before April 21st!
