Activity Report June 2021 – Daniel Nwankwo Foundation

All through the month of June, Daniel Nwankwo Foundation, in collaboration with organisations such as the NDLEA, ISSUP, CIND, CSNetSDA, and WFAD, organised programmes at several institutions to mark the 2021 World Drug Day, sensitising people about Drugs with facts from verified sources, and following the theme “#ShareFactsOnDrugs to help #SaveLives

The Project Objective of the various objectives was:

“To Share a sufficient amount of knowledge to help every person in the audience understand the effects of drug use and misuse, and enable them to effect change in their immediate environments.”

Activities that were organised to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking were the following :

  • Drug Sensitisation session at Eternal sacred order of cherubim and seraphim (ESOCS) Church, Aba Headquarters, Abia state
  • Drug Education Campaigns at Osusu Amaukwa secondary school in Obingwa LGA, Abia State
  • School Drugs Education Programme for St. James secondary school, Aba, Abia State
