Our member Community Outreach Burundi has taken the 16 days of activism close to their heart to raise awareness on and stop violence against women and other vulnerable groups in Burundian society. Their interventions will be focussing on violence related to drug abuse. They strongly phrase that “it will be an opportunity to influence government officials to implement a gender perspective in the development of national laws and policies on drug prevention, equality, equity, and children’s right without discrimination”. They will be targeting 5 fundamental and post-fundamental school from North of Bujumbura city, Ntahangwa commune, Kinama, and Kamenge zone.
