Invitation to 3rd Uganda Alcohol Policy Conference (UAPC22)

Uganda Alcohol Policy Conference (UAPC) is the largest gathering of researchers, practitioners, advocates, and policymakers working on alcohol policy in Uganda. This year on Nov 23rd until 25th, the 3rd Uganda Alcohol Policy Conference (UAPC22) will be held. The theme of this year is: “Building Momentum For The Prevention Of Alcohol-Related Harm In Uganda: Walking the talk’.

The conference is organised by Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance, in partnership with World Health Organisation, Ministry of Health – Mental Health Division, and Makerere University Public School of Public Health and is critical, especially at this time when Uganda is rolling out the National alcohol control policy and drafting the Alcoholic drinks control bill.

The registration fees are as following:

  • Early Bird (Up to 30th August 2022): Ugandans (250,000) and Non-Ugandans 90 US dollars
  • Regular Up to 30th October 2022): Ugandans (250,000) and Non-Ugandans 100 US dollars.
  • Late registration (After 1st November: Ugandans (300,000) and Non-Ugandans 150 US dollars.
