Virtual Training Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) 5 by our member Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, Gujranwala, Pakistan

Our member, Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, (MATH) Gujranwala Pakistan has conducted virtual training in universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) 5. UTC-5 virtual training inaugural session conducted on 27th November 2023. Mr. Muhammad Ayub, Senior Advisor Colombo Plan inaugurated the training and said this is very good opportunity for Pakistani addiction professionals to attend this training.

Mr Sana Ullah Rathore, Executive Director, MATH and lead trainer said that we provide training opportunities to addiction professionals free of cost. This training ended on 11th December 2023. Mr Sana Ullah Rathore thanked Mr Muhammad Ayub, Senior Advisor Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme – DAP for his guidance and support as well as trainers Muhammad Jawwad Muhammad and Ms Shahida for their time. A total of 21 participants all over from Pakistan participated in the training.

Ms Sarah Ahmad Chairperson of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab, Home Department Government of the Punjab (Province) and Mr Sana Ullah Rathore, Chairman, Mian Afzal Trust Hospital (MATH) Signed a Memorandum of Understanding for free treatment and rehabilitation services for street children. Mr Aftab Ahmad Khan Director General of Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab, Rana Masood Ahmad Director of Projects MATH, Arshad Javed Mughal and Sufi Muhammad Javed were also present at the occasion. Child Protection & Welfare Bureau refers the street children to Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, Gujranwala for free treatment.
