This year, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) will take place between March 14th and 18th. Each year, the Vienna NGO Committee co-hosts several side events at the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) and offers its networks the possibility to contribute as a speaker. This year, they have 5 side events for which they need speakers.

In order to apply for a speaking slot, please fill out and submit this form by 21 February, 11:45 p.m. CET.  The length of the intervention will depend on the main organiser of the event but will likely be no longer than 5min. 

Please make sure that your abstract is relevant to the respective topic of the event, and clearly describes what you will be presenting on. Selected candidates will be notified the week of 28th February.

Introducing the Asia-Pacific Civil Society Common Position On Drugs – open for 2 or 3 speakers

EVENT 2: 
Responding to drug-related challenges in the cyberspace: Vulnerabilities and opportunities to engage civil society  – open for 1 or 2 speakers

EVENT 3:
From Coercion to Cohesion: Increased access to health care services for people with drug use disorders and associated mental health disorders in contact with the criminal justice system – open for 1 speaker

EVENT 4: 
Neonatal exposure to synthetic opioids – open for 1 speaker

EVENT 5: 
The Humanitarian approach to drug policy: opportunities and challenges for effective cooperation between public authorities and health-based organization -open for 1 speaker
